Sears wanted to implement a cohesive look across all signage in their Electronics Department to create a shop within a shop. I designed a simple large scale pixel graphic that appeared across all signage which created a cohesive departmental feel. By limiting the color palette to 2 shades of complimentary cyan and orange the information on the signs was presented well organized for a quick read.
Client | Luxottica
Designed quarterly promotional signage packages for Luxottica, the licensed business owner of Sears Optical stores. The concept featured was designed to promote the “Buy One Get One FREE” promotion. Through fun photo booth style photography this layout shows 4 pairs of sunglasses or eyeglasses up close to capture the details on the frames. The bright blue of the signs reinforce the Sears Optical brand and stand out throughout the Sears store.
Client | VF Jeanswear
Partnered with VF Jeanswear to develop a mix and match concept shop for the launch of their brand, Wrangler Home, in JCPenney stores. The strategy around this concept was to cross-merchandise throughout each Home category of the store. I designed an overall brand look using B/W nature images as the backdrop for the Wrangler Home tagline “Real. Comfortable. Home.” to stand out throughout the store. Each Home category was assigned it’s own color from an earth tone color palette for a cohesive look. This concept was represented through examples of in-store signage, packaging and print advertising.

Work on the Summer Shop named “Live Outdoors” began with designing a proprietary tile pattern for The Great Indoors. The tile pattern graced products from door mats to melamine dinnerware. It also became the centerpiece of the Live Outdoors signage package. The versatile graphic added impact when used as a single tile on the autopole and created an intricate pattern when repeated.
Client | Circle Square Consulting
Collaborated with chief consultant from Circle Square Consulting on the brand guidelines and design of their first branded direct mail piece. From the copy Circle Square Consulting provided I researched for stock imagery that supported their mission statement. I also updated their brandmark to include a modern san serif typeface and limited the color palette to those featured in the direct mail piece.
Featured are a few of the brand identities I have designed, from a photographer to a carpenter.
